Informations about tests and blog!

December 23, 2012

Test are measuring clock per clock performance of all 3 processors: FX-8120, i5 3570K and FX-8320.

3.4GHz means: stock speed i5 3570K vs overclocked FX-8120@3.4GHz and underclocked FX-8320@3.4GHz!

After some comments (which are welcome) I decided to do tests only at 3.4GHz and 4.5GHz!

Reason: 4GHz results are not showing really usefull informations…

But for bonus I will test FX-8320 at 4.7GHz and compare it to i5 3570K@4.5GHz which was idea of Blameless – overclock.net forum.

Why? This are probably speeds that most of overclockers run those processors for 24/7 – so i5 3570K at 4.5GHz and FX-8320 at 4.7GHz.

Table!

So tests will be witout 4GHz!

  1. Why are you stopping at 4.7GHz on 8320????????? Youre being unfair.. Take it as high as it can go!

    • I could do that… but the fact is that i5 3570K can go higher than 4.5GHz, as same as FX-8320 can go higher than 4.7GHz.
I think that average overclock of i5 3570K for 24/7 use is around 4.5GHz, as same as it for FX-8320 4.7GHz.
